  1. My son Elder Daemon Yancey is one of the 5 elders from this zone returning home from his mission tomorrow . When we began this journey 2 years seemed like a long time especially with my ongoing battle with cancer. I was uncertain if I would be there to greet him at his Homecoming and so was he. He even asked me what he wanted me to have him do if things got worse with my cancer while he was serving and it was uncertain if I would make it. I am thankful for a faithful son who decided to serve a mission despite my battle with cancer and the uncertainty of it's outcome. Thanks President and Sister Mackay for taking such good care of my son for two years. Thanks to the our Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus
Christ, and our angel's on both sides of the veil for protecting him on his mission and protecting me here at home during
my cancer battle so we could see each other face to face tomorrow night and give each other a big bear hug tomorrow. Thanks to Daemon's missionary companions, trainers, leaders, active members, other missionaries, inactive members, recent converts, and investigators who have worked with him, fed him, and care for him at the Provo MTC, the mission home in Fresno, and the cities of Porterville, Visalia, Sonora, and Turlock. I am grateful for the spiritual growth I have seen in my son and the decision he made to sacrifice 2 years of his life to serve our Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the people in the Fresno California mission. Well done Daemon for being a true and faithful servant to our Heavenly Father and our lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am one proud and thankful missionary momma.
